This survey report presents a comprehensive set of data related to Asset Management Accounts at participating firms, including: number of accounts; commissions earned; account asset value; features offered (including Billpay); annual and feature-specific fees; cost basis of account holdings; risk management practices and procedures; and, operations.
This year’s report covers data from twenty-three SIA member firms. As of December 31, 2005, these firms employed 75,893 individuals and had assets in AMA accounts of over $780 billion (based on the number of accounts and the average asset value per account). Firms included in the study provided data for their AMA accounts as of 12/31/04 and 12/31/05.
