Data in this year’s Report on Compensation of Top Management in Small and Regional Firms come from forty-three SIA member firms. In 2005, participating firms employed nearly 35,000 individuals and generated over $12.5 billion in gross revenues. Participating firms are segmented into three firm-size groups based on Total 2005 Gross Revenue. With 24 firms and 2005 gross revenues under $100 million, Group I is the largest firm-size group in this report.
This year’s report provides compensation data for eighteen senior executive positions at participating firms, including: CEO; CFO; COO; Chief Compliance Officer; Chief Administrative Officer; Chief Information Officer; Chief Risk Officer; General Counsel; Director of Human Resources, and the Heads of Fixed Income, Public Finance, Research, Retail Sales, Institutional Sales, Marketing, Operations, Equity Capital Markets, and Investment Banking/Corporate Finance. For these positions, this study provides information on short- and long-term incentives, retirement plans, executive perquisites and compensation, and target award ranges. Numerous summary tables and position-by-position data arrays are provided.
