This report presents staffing level data from 27 participating firms that employ approximately 30,000 individuals in each of 25 specified functions. Of all employees, approximately 64 percent are exempt and 36 percent are non-exempt.
For the purposes of this study, firms are segmented in three groups based on firm type: Group 1 includes National and Regional firms; Group 2 includes Introducing and Small firms; and, Group 3 includes All Other firms, e.g., Institutional and Investment Banking firms, Bank Broker-Dealers, etc. Participants are also identified by firm code and clearing arrangement.
